The Electronic Travel Authority (ETA) for US citizens costs $20 AUD (approximately $13-14 USD) when applied through official channels.

The ETA allows multiple entries and stays up to 90 days per visit within a 12-month validity period. Application takes minutes online with instant approval in most cases, though you’ll want to apply for your ETA in advance. This modest cost is minimal compared to your overall investment in an Australian adventure.
