March Departure Dates

March marks the end of summer in Australia, making it one of the best months to visit. You’ll enjoy warm weather, fewer crowds, and excellent opportunities for outdoor activities. Early March still reflects slightly elevated demand, with prices roughly $27–$75 per person, per day above the lowest advertised rates. However, mid- to late-March sees a significant drop in prices as the summer season ends, making it one of the best opportunities to secure great deals.

April Departure Dates

November Departure Dates

November is another one of our favorite times to visit Australia. Late spring ushers in warm weather, long daylight hours, and lush, vibrant landscapes. It’s an ideal month for outdoor adventures, wildlife encounters, and cultural events before the summer crowds arrive, making it a fantastic time to explore. November is part of the low season, particularly for early-month travel when rates are still close to the lowest published prices. However, demand begins to rise toward the later part of the month as summer approaches and events like the Melbourne Cup draw increased interest. Prices in late November may rise by $50–$125 per person, per day.

December Departure Dates

December marks the beginning of summer in Australia, with warm weather, longer days, and a festive holiday spirit spreading across the country. It's not ideal for people heading to the Outback because it is often too hot to enjoy the outdoors, but the rest of the country is stunning. December is a tale of two price ranges. Early December offers excellent value, with prices among the lowest of the year for those traveling before mid-month. However, after December 15, the holiday rush begins, driving significant price increases of $200–$400 per person, per day in most destinations. To ensure the best rates and availability for popular holiday dates, booking 9–11 months in advance is highly recommended.
