Days 1 – 2: Sydney – Harbour, Icons & City Life
Settle into your hotel, perfectly positioned between Darling Harbour and the CBD. Enjoy two nights to soak up Sydney at your own pace. Stroll to Circular Quay for the Opera House and Harbour Bridge views, explore The Rocks, or browse the weekend markets.

Day 3: Sydney → Wollongong via the Sea Cliff Bridge
Pick up your rental car and head south through the majestic Royal National Park, stopping at Garie Beach for your first taste of the NSW coastline. Hand-feed wildlife at Symbio Wildlife Gardens in Helensburgh, then continue to Stanwell Park, famous for hang gliders and sweeping ocean views from Bald Hill. Cross the spectacular Sea Cliff Bridge, an engineering marvel that literally hangs over the Pacific, before reaching the lively university town of Wollongong for the night.
Day 4: Wollongong → Kangaroo Valley via Kiama & Nowra
Start with a morning stroll along Wollongong’s beach or a visit to Nan Tien Temple before heading south. Stop in Jamberoo for the Minnamurra Rainforest birdwatching walk, then catch the famous Kiama Blowhole before a fresh seafood lunch in Nowra. Your destination is the enchanting Kangaroo Valley, a historic, lush river valley tucked between two mountain ranges, dotted with bushwalking trails, galleries, and the iconic 19th-century Hampden Bridge. Stay overnight in the village.
Day 5: Kangaroo Valley → Sydney via Southern Highlands
Wind north through the rolling green hills of the Southern Highlands, stopping in Moss Vale for a wine tasting at Eling Forest or Southern Highlands Wines. Continue through Campbelltown to visit the Campbelltown Arts Centre, stroll the Japanese Teahouse and Sculpture Garden, or take the heritage walk before the final stretch back into Sydney.
