Day 3 – Great Barrier Reef
There’s a reason this is the single most requested experience in all of Australia. Cruise out to the Outer Great Barrier Reef aboard a luxury vessel and spend up to five hours snorkeling two exclusive reef locations, surrounded by coral gardens and tropical marine life most people only ever see in photos. All equipment is provided, expert crew are on hand for snorkelers of every skill level, and a hot lunch and complimentary glass of wine on the return cruise mean you can simply soak in the moment. Few days of your life will feel this unforgettable.
Day 4 – Day Out in Kuranda
Today you’ll travel up to the mountain village of Kuranda on the Skyrail Rainforest Cableway, gliding silently above the rainforest canopy, then return via the historic Kuranda Scenic Railway, winding down through the Wet Tropics World Heritage Area, for two completely different perspectives on the same extraordinary landscape. Along the way, ride the amphibious Army Duck through rainforest waterways, experience First Nations culture and traditional dance with a Pamagirri guide, and enjoy a hearty Aussie BBQ lunch. This is a full, rich day that turns a simple day trip into one of the highlights of your entire vacation.
Day 5 – Sunset Dinner Cruise
Wind down your Cairns stay the way it deserves to be wound down: from the water, drink in hand, as the sky turns gold over the mountains. This relaxed 90-minute cruise glides along the Cairns waterfront and into the mangrove-lined channels of Trinity Inlet, with a complimentary drink and light snack included. It’s an easy, beautiful way to close out an action-packed stretch of your trip, and a photo opportunity you won’t want to miss.
